Jake Yernberg is an Automotive Services Technology Instructor at Saint Paul College with more than 20 years of automotive industry experience and 12 years of technical education experience. He leads the college’s Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Technology Certificate, a program designed to equip students and working technicians with the skills needed to work safely and effectively with electrified vehicles, high-voltage systems, diagnostics, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

 

Jake has helped expand training opportunities that align with the rapidly growing demand for skilled technicians in transportation electrification. His interest in the future of energy and transportation extends beyond the automotive industry. As a graduate of Century College’s Solar Energy Program, he values the powerful connection between renewable energy generation and electric mobility. Today, he is passionate about building workforce pathways that prepare students for careers in electrification, energy innovation, and advanced vehicle technologies.
