Laurence Reszetar is Chief Operating Officer of the Minneapolis Downtown Council and the Minneapolis Downtown Improvement District, which he joined in March 2026. He oversees communications, organizational strategy, and finances, and manages the teams running programs in community safety, clean and green operations, community activations, and economic development. A former Deputy Director of the Minnesota Trade Office, he draws on his earlier work attracting international investment to Minnesota in guiding the Council’s approach to business attraction and retention downtown.
