Shawn Haag is Executive Director of the Minnesota State Transportation Center of Excellence, where he connects education, industry, and workforce partners to prepare Minnesota’s transportation and mobility workforce. His work spans automotive, aviation, aerospace, logistics, and emerging technologies, including vehicle electrification, autonomous systems, and AI. He also leads Minnesota’s NASA-funded Aerospace State Hub, expanding pathways into skilled technical careers. Before joining Minnesota State, Shawn spent 20+ years at the University of Minnesota.
